NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON TA
Every year, Institute of Counselling & Transactional Analysis (I.C.T.A.) organises National Conference on Transactional Analysis at various parts of the country. Renowned T.A. theorists & practitioners from all over the Country and abroad participate in the conference. Details about future conferences will be updated in this website.
Transactional Analysis was brought to India by Fr. George Kandathil S.J. in 1971. He was trained under Dr. Muriel James (who was a direct
disciple of Dr. Eric Berne) and is a Teaching Member accredited by the International Transactional Analysis Association, California, U.S.A.
In 1972, he started the Institute of Counselling and Transactional Analysis (I.C.T.A.), the organisers of this Conference, in Kalamassery,
Cochin and ever since has been providing systematic training in Transactional Analysis (T.A.) to people in various walks of life.I.C.T.A. is an educational non-profit organisation training people in Human Resource Development, especially in the areas of Counselling, Psychotherapy, Organisational Development and Education. It is the pioneer Institute in India offering systematic training in Counselling and Transactional Analysis.
